Big Gay Comedy Show

  • Steeple Hall @ Mission Oak 26 Green Street Newburyport, MA, 01950 United States (map)

Newburyport Pride presents our second annual Big Gay Comedy Show!

Your host AMY TEE, New England comedy sensation and one of the "funniest lesbians in America", is back again by popular demand. You know her, you love her & you know you'll love seeing her again! She offers a rare blend of wit and honesty, a winning combination that's made her a popular comedian on the national comedy touring circuit. Amy brings boyish charm and dry wit to her experiences with alcoholism, bi-polar disorder and, on the road to recovery, delivers comedy with stigma-busting honesty.

This year, Amy is bringing with her another great group of fellow LGBTQ+ comedians:

WILL SMALLEY is a purveyor of the silly-arts and a dude-lover extraordinaire. As an established LGBTQ+ voice in the comedy scene, Will is a former finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and has been featured in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, OR. In addition to being a mainstay at the major comedy clubs and colleges across the Northeast, Will serves as the announcer/producer for Old School Game Show.

JEREMY CANGIANO is a high-energy Boston-based stand-up comic who’s performed across New England, New York City, California, Florida, and Italy. With his quick wit and signature Boston accent, he dives into hilarious tales of dating as a bisexual, dealing with crazy exes, traveling the world, speaking Italian, and navigating life at home in his 30s. His relatable, fast-paced humor leaves audiences in stitches, offering a fresh, hilarious take on life’s chaos.

Based in Boston, KAITLIN BUCKLEY is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor known for her silly, smart, and brutally honest jokes. She is also the head writer and an actor on Old School Game Show, an interactive trivia variety show that has performed at The Wilbur.

MARIA PALOMBI is a dynamic comedian celebrated for her uproarious take on life as a queer woman from Italy now living in the States. She performed at New England favorites like Nick’s Comedy Stop, Don’t Tell Comedy, and the Glue Factory Comedy in Rhode Island. She's also left audiences in stitches at prestigious festivals such as the Boston Comedy Festival where she was a finalist, Asheville Comedy Festival, and Rogue Island Comedy Festival.
