You’re invited to join Newburyport Pride in the second annual small business downtown window display contest!
How to Enter - Click the link below to register by May 17th and create a window or window facing display relating to Pride! Be creative and think as big as you’d like, just make sure you meet the requirements. The winning business would be announced Monday, June 3rd, on Newburyport Pride social media, and receive an award to display in their business showing their accomplishment and some goodies!
Important Dates - Submit your application by May 17th. Displays run May 30th - June 3rd at a minimum (but encouraged to run for the month) with winners announced Monday June 3rd.
Why get involved? - Viewers and voters will be exploring downtown Newburyport, going to businesses they might not have known about by following the Pride contest map, increasing the foot traffic going to your store. In addition to drawing in voters, you’ll be joining a community movement promoting ally-ship, diversity, and acceptance in our beautiful port city. Last year we had over 1,500 votes with over 30 businesses participating, so join the fun!
VOTERS:
You will have the opportunity to visit all of the wonderfully decorated businesses throughout Newburyport, view the creative displays, and vote for your favorite!
When all the businesses have registered, a map will be created and you’ll be able to click on a link to vote. One vote per email address, please.
