and the return of the Pride Festival
on Saturday, June 6, 2026
The Parade kicks off at noon, and the Festival runs from 1 - 4 pm in Waterfront Park in downtown Newburyport

Past Newburyport Pride Parade participants include: the 40—person precision NE Pride Color Guard, the swinging Leftist Marching Band, the Pride Drummers, Exit Dance Company, Classic Cars from the Lambda Car Club, the Queen of Newburyport Pride herself Madam Zapple, a tribute to Queer Icons, a special section dedicated to our Trans brothers & sisters (including a huge Trans flag), amazing local non-profits organizations, supportive religious groups, arts organizations, the Boston Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, fabulous Newburyport businesses & sponsors, families, friends & members of the Newburyport Community, and more! Our colorful display includes a huge rainbow balloon arch, costumes, performers, and other surprises.

Where: Waterfront Park is located in Downtown Newburyport, across from Market Square and behind the Firehouse Center for the Performing Arts

Restrooms: portable toilets will be available at the festival
Waterfront Park in downtown Newburyport will be the site of the Newburyport Pride Festival following the parade. Hundreds of residents and visitors with gather for community, comradery, and festivity for the festival's second year, which will feature:
◉ Tons of vendors, some returning and some new
◉ Nonprofits serving the local and LGBTQ+ community
◉ LGBTQ+ groups from around the region
◉ Kids' and teens' area including fun and free activities for all ages!
◉ a DJ spinning great Pride tunes, live music, and speakers, all hosted by the queen of Newburyport Pride, Madam Zapple
◉ Food vendors including local and LGBTQ+ owned businesses
◉ All the beauty and fun of Newburyport’s beautiful Waterfront Park!
